Fantasy sports acquisition lives and dies on the deposit, not the signup — account creation is nearly free to generate and a large share of accounts never fund.
The approach
The account was measured at first deposit throughout, giving a clean 20.8% create-to-deposit rate that made it obvious which sources produced accounts that funded versus ones that simply existed.
